Application Scope
The high accuracy distance sensor with radar system-
- Contactless, inline measurement of slabs, strips, and plates (up to 1600 °C).
- Accuracy up to ±300 µm even in harsh environments
- Independent of alloy or metal type.
- Eliminates radiation hazards and reduces cost.
By replacing the mechanical switches with electronic position switches, a 1:1 retrofit was achieved.
